Saxophone Soloist Angel has taught private music lessons in many Texas establishments since 2010 . Angel mainly teaches saxophone and piano, as well as basic music theory and music history. Angel studied music performance at St. Mary’s University of San Antonio Texas and now lives in Austin. As a performing artist, Angel plays various genres such as classical, baroque, romance and ballads, broadway and musical theatre, sacred music, gospel, praise and worship, jazz, Latin jazz, and of course the personal favorite: 90s-2000’s pop. Angel always wants to get to know what students' favorite songs and singers are, and will form lessons based on what the students have shared. Music theory and history are always included in learning repertoire. With some hard work and dedication, students will enjoy learning to play and perform their favorite songs by their favorite artists. Angel's biggest philosophy is: Play the music you love and love the music you play!
